Fast two‐vector‐based model‐free predictive current control of permanent magnet synchronous motor

Finite control set model predictive (FCS-MPC) is becoming an important method in the high-performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) because its simple concept, easy implementation, and strong performance. However, traditional FCS-MPC uses only one basic voltage vector whole cycle, so steady-state performance poor. In addition, relies significantly on machine parameter correctness. The degraded if controller parameters do not match real parameters. This study proposed a PMSM fast two-vector model-free approach to address abovementioned issues. process employs no system's inputs outputs. this combines selection with method, which simplifies computational effort while improving accuracy at same time. MATLAB/Simulink built system model, simulation experimental studies were carried out. results confirm effectiveness method.
